Welcome

I’m so glad you’re here.

There was a time when I believed faith was mostly about finding answers. Now I’m learning that it’s more about paying attention—about noticing. About learning to see who God is.

This journal began with a photograph.

The day before my mother went home to be with the Lord, a friend took a picture of the sky above her hospice house and sent it to me. At the time, I simply thought it was beautiful. It wasn’t until much later that I realized what that photograph had become: a quiet reminder that God was present long before I recognized I could see Him.

Since then, I’ve found myself noticing Him everywhere.

In gardens that bloom after long, difficult seasons.

In the things I create with my hands.

In ordinary moments that once would have passed me by.

These pages are my practice of noticing.

Faith.

Beauty.

Grief.

Home.

The quiet ways God meets us in the everyday.

The title of this journal comes from Job 42:5:
"I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eyes see you."

I’m still learning to see.

Still learning to notice.

My hope is that these words invite you to slow down, to look a little closer, and to recognize God’s presence in places you may never have expected.

If they do, then I’m grateful our paths have crossed.

Stay awhile. Notice with me.
